Booster's Lab - It's Pretty Good Now

I bought CS+ on stream and I am already in hell but I want to edit something. I tried boosters lab and when I clicked cave story+ The maps and everything was blank. What should I do? I searched all over google but there was nothing....

I opened that up and it said Couldn't find enitityInfo.txt then I clicked ok and it showed the maps. I thought I did it and when I clicked one of the maps it would not open....

Jesus, everyone chill out, there is no need to fight. Fadoink, it's very odd that the program doesn't work well. Make sure you have a good version of JAVA in your PC, and you have all the files OK. Also, make sure that stage.tbl is not in "Read-only" mode.

After extracting did you run booster's lab from the extracted files and not from the zip file?

If it's not that then maybe your Java install is too old to support BL, try updating it.

Hey this may sound really stupid, but since it's in java, isnt it already kinda cross platform? I mean most mac's have java already installed, that's like 90% there. Then install an icon and boom it's cross-platform. I've been using it on Mac and haven't encountered any problems.

 

That's not the problem with cross-compatibility. Even though you can run BL on a Mac, it doesn't mod the Mac version of CS, only the PC one.

 

Oh, duh. I guess I've just been modding the pc version for so long, I forgot the difference.

 

I did not have Java up to date and I found another JAR file and replaced it. I will see if it works
