It's the images, not the actual map. See if Cave Editor/Booster's Lab recognize the images, sometimes it doesn't so you have to copy them or just re-save them.
Try re-saving them or importing ones from Cave Story itself (with the .bmp extension, so that it works properly.)
If it doesn't, It'd help if I could just see it for myself.

Huh... I have no idea what your problem is. I've tried everything I could, even moving the event to normal Jack's house, but it seems to be Mimiga Village. It's properties are alright, and since it's a stage error I doubt any NPCs are corrupt, but.. I put Npc0 on Balconey East (Which should be Eastern Balcony or East of the Balcony) and it didn't crash there. Since I tried putting the event in Jack's House normally, it can't be NpcGuest, either. This makes me believe that it could just be something in the Mimiga Village's files (.tsc, .pxe and .pxm) that's causing Cave Story to blame it on the properties. If you had a previous version before Jack's House_ was inserted, try replacing Mimiga Village's files in the current one with the previous's version and see if it works, then.
Also...
"You miss the platform." "You didn't have a soft fall." To make it sound better, it should be "You missed the platform." "You didn't have a soft landing." Also, Balconey East could be, as stated before, Eastern Balcony or East of the Balcony. Also, you spawn in the wall when you move from Outer Wall to Balconey East.

Ok, thanks for the help! Also, the second jack's house was in response to the error, but I think it might have something to do with the executable. Unfortanatly, I can't redo anything, but I do know it started when I did something to the village... Maybe I should search for a recent backup?

Okay, here's a summary of my time with this game. Went to grasstown. Killed robot. Went to Mimiga Village. Went to Arthur's House. Checked computer. Went to Import Station. Couldn't get back. Went to Egg Corridor. Fought weird Igor thing that said dialogue that made no sense. Quit out of confusion.

If that's how your mod is supposed to be, then you really need to learn more about storytelling and plot devices.

That's not supposed to happen... I need to fix that. It breaks the story. You are supposed to get to the hermit gunsmith. I never realized you could skip a large part of the story. Sorry. You don't go to Arthur's house until much later... Anyways, that's a bit lower on the priorities list. I still need to figure out what is going wrong with mimiga village in the next version... Maybe someone coulld end me Npc0, PrtMimi, and Npcguest?

Redownload CS and grab the files you need
make sure to rename the extensions

So Bionic, I downloaded your recent version, and I can't find the Sword in grasstown. Also, I'm just gonna give a small bit of feedback here

-The Current Enemy robot sprite looks, uh, "unfinished" to put it nicely. The colors seem to clash, not in a good way.
-Grasstown seems empty, and I'm just gonna put this out there, in the original Cave Story, you can see that there are some parts of Grasstown that seem decayed and broken. So unless grass town is just being built in this mod, maybe add some buildings or blocks or whatever to make the place seem, not boring.

So yeah, I haven't goten far in the rest of the mod, but good luck.

Did you check the place were the ravil used to be? That's were it is...
Edit: Fuck, gotta fix that. Damn game-breaking glitches!

Edit 2: No matter what I do, the opened chest appears up top. I tried simulating other chests, but it doesn't work! :muscledoc: :muscledoc: :muscledoc: :sue:

Edit 3: Alright, the fix will be up in a minute! Chest now functional...
Edit 4: Anyone have a map of the wind fortress? I need it, so I can edit it and add a couple new areas.

So, I played the recent build, is it supposed to end at the Pit/Plantation?

Also, how you get to one place from enough and how you find out your supposed to go to the Sand Zone are a bit eh, but other than that the mods pretty good.

EDIT: Never mind, I found out you have to go back to the Storage area.

EDIT 2: Well, got to the part where you talk to Comma for the first time, cod you faint alot. Why?

I don't know... He is a prototype/unfinished model of Quote and Curly, though.
Edit: Damn, I need to add the hearts! The hearts are supposed to draw attention to something. A hint, as you could say. I forgot to add those in this release. :muscledoc:
