• Hey everyone happy Christmas Eve we're aware of what's happened with the source code so to keep this simple absolutely don't post it on the site or use it to make mods with (it's not particularly preferable toward this end anyway) and tread lightly in general until we see how this settles, thanks to all and have a great holiday season -DT

In terms of artwork, I don't really have much because I only recently got into drawing (I used to only do a small amount of pixel works). I started learning anime and this was my second attempt:

You don't want to see my first attempt.... :greydroll:
If I make any more art in the future, I'll probably just put it in my gallery. I didn't even realize there were member galleries until recently. Very cool feature, imo.

@ Noxid. I love your stuff.

I really like the eyes. Overall it's a good start. I advise you to discover the bezier tool if you continue with digital artwork.

I see why you said that. Good advice, thanks. I use Paint.NET and it only has the option to make curved lines, which isn't quite the same. However, when adding curves to a line, right-clicking on the nodes and dragging them has very similar results. I didn't realize this until just now; I had used the left-click only. I looked for a bezier plugin for Paint.NET but had no luck, which is really odd. I could always switch to GIMP if I find it necessary.

Edit: To clarify, Paint.NET lines always have 4 nodes. I would have all I need if it allowed for removal/addition of nodes, now that I've discovered what right-clicking does.

Well the right-click-line is basically bezier, I use it all the time and my lines are pretty smooth. It would be more helpful I guess to find a bezier tool that lets you use more nodes, though.

My favorite part is how the feet are smaller than the eyes.

Don't forget to work on your lineart as well.

I've seen many artists that seemingly ignore this part of the drawing process. Thought i'd like to mention it to you because your lines are in constant size, which can make your drawing a little dull. You do use a tablet, right?

That's pretty awesome Noxid. Wouldn't mind seeing more Canadurr province flags, though I'm not sure if any others contain animals (I'm only familiar with NB and BC)

Thanks :]
It's probably unlikely that I'll do more than NB though, since the other provinces have lame flags or have a recolour lion.

Going to show some of the stuff i did in the past:

Possibly my most recent one
diph.php
Hastily drawn stuff. I'm aware i forgot some details on them like the line at the hat of the last one
diph.php
This one was from last year. Don't like this one that much because the artstyle for the face, hair and arms was directly nacked from another drawing
diph.php
A attempt to practise on several bits of scenery, notice how the rocks change from left to right

Really good work, I love your drawing style.

I may as well post something of my own while I'm here
diph.php

yes I know but I dunno I was bored of drawing rainbow cats and this is really the first thing that came to mind
Also I tried shading it all with a reddish color but it turned out weird so it looks weird. Sorry.
