Anybody know the title Cave Story Font? (Freeware Version)

So I have been searching for the title font of the original CS but nothing will tell me it so... Anybody here know?

Talking about this font btw:

 

I'm more than certain the font used for that version of the title is Times New Roman, may or may not have had some modifications put into it post-type.

Of course this is the aeon genesis translation's logo, I don't think Pixel himself ever made an official logo for the game in English and I don't know who designed the Cave Story + logo. I recall there being another thread about trying to figure out the font on that logo a long time ago but nobody was able to find a decisive answer from the looks of it.
