I am making a mod of cave story which is somewhat similar to original game. I have often seen that people think that game become easier if there are shortcuts to complete a game. It is somewhat true but you need more intelligence to complete it.
:sue: In this mod, everything in the game is having some or the other statement. If you want me something more to add to this game, then you can tell me.

Will the mod have any noticeable effects? I can't really grasp the first post(I'm an idiot :critter: ), so perhaps you could clear that up? I'm not sure what you're going for here.

He may be referring to in-game shortcuts, not shortcuts in development. As in hidden passageways and such.

The answer is no. We don't need another easy mode mod.

Define short cut and then give an example of one you'd make as an example. Because I have no idea what you really intend to do to the game by any posts and there might be a better term for it.

I think he means hidden paths that allow you to bypass parts of the game. I'd imagine the challenge would be finding said paths (and possibly navigating them).

Maybe but if he can't iterate that himself then he had no buisness even trying until he had enough of a help to simplify the explanation or at least make it understandable.
