The sickeningly cheerful say hello, introduce yourself; now where's my cookie? topic.

For some reason, playing Kero Blaster led me back here - really got me pining for the simpler times. I tried making a mod or two waaay back in like 2006 or so, and I'm a bit sad I didn't stick with it at the time. Thankfully, I am still as cringe as I ever was, so really I have barely changed...

    Full Curly AI Script?

At one point I believe Pixel said off offhandedly that Curly's behavior was basically "follow the player, and jump if a wall is in the way".

Screen is covered by a black veil

While I had the method wrong, the x isn't how long it takes to fade, it's the method, like from the left, top, right, bottom, or the middle-fade style. They all take the same amount of time.

Screen is covered by a black veil

Use <FAOx, x being 0000, 0001, 0002, 0003, or 0004 in your script. Make sure it's within the start event as well. Additionally, this document on nearly all the TSC commands may benefit you. www.superficial.tv/TSC.txt

Cave Story Assembly dump, anyone have it?

I lost mine, did anyone save the assembly dump of Cave Story's EXE from a while back?

    Modding for Mac?

We were talking about changing maps, not anything else. That only needs map names and tilesets. I include the npcs loaded as a tileset.

    Monogatario

The sun-blocks that spawn little sun-blocks would've been fun to use as koopas.

    Nator's New Modification

I like how an argument arose over something that I haven't even released yet.

    Modding for Mac?

You don't need to do all that, you just need to manually place each map's title and tilesets.

    Modding for Mac?

It's possible to hack Cave Story's mac port, it uses the same map structure and whatnot, it's only the internal EXE information (map titles, and tilesets used) that can't be accessed via a program yet. I suppose if Sue's Workshop's source was released, someone (like myself) could port it to a...

    Nator's New Modification

General rule for weapons in Laevus Levus: Purple = P.K. abilities Red = Guns P.K. abilities are non-limited in shots, and can destroy cracked blocks. But they're weaker than the pistols and rifles in their early stages. Guns are limited in shots, and cannot destroy cracked blocks. They're...

Unfortunately, breakable blocks all look the same. (Mind you, it's only the start area that looks like this, with the simple bricks.)

I gave S.P. an early sampling of my mod. I haven't gotten a response, but I don't expect much because not a lot is done yet. In the meantime, enjoy this image.

    Camera focus bug.

I didn't see this until recently, but when you use the focus TSC command to focus on an entity, and then continue playing, the vertical focus speed remains the same as the defined TSC command, not the default speed, which the horizontal focus returns to. Like, if you set <FOM0001, the vertical...
