The term you are looking for is "Monospace". CS's text system accepts monospace fonts/typefaces but doesn't correctly render fonts that aren't monospaced.

As stated by Serri it doesn't do this in CS for any of the endings, and yeah not a good idea. I personally pretty much always side with never punishing the player for things they don't know about. Bad endings in videogames that suddenly end the game partway through where you can easily revert...

@crotchstick You can do it in MS Paint if you save it as a 24 bit bitmap as Serri above me mentions. A large chunk of modders use https://getpaint.net/ (it's free) which is better than MS Paint and what I've personally used for 30+ CS mods now, although others have used Aesprite or Graphics Gale.
