Depends? Nobody talks about HP in real life, but they definitely talk about the dangers, and how safe our lives are. But, being a game, you can use any conventions you want to explain it and if it's well written it'll be accepted and enjoyed :]

Please stop embedding files/images from Discord. Discord has anti-hotlinking logic in place that breaks links to Discord hosted files and images when linked to from anywhere outside of Discord. There are a multitude of file/image hosting sites you can use instead.

It sounds a little awkward to me: addressing HP through dialog, unless it's system/narration text. But, I guess you can make it work if this HP value system is part of that world's lore. Like he's a lvl 7. She's a lvl 3. Or something...

Maybe I'd do something like: (screen blacks out, shows the young heroine walking and shows health at 10) "<Charname> was weaker than most adventurer's her age. Early in life a mysterious "taint" struck." (Show health decrease by -7) "It was their 12th birthday when ..."
