• Please stop embedding files/images from Discord. Discord has anti-hotlinking logic in place that breaks links to Discord hosted files and images when linked to from anywhere outside of Discord. There are a multitude of file/image hosting sites you can use instead.

    The correct answer is... "yes". Killing all monsters of an invasion is rewarding... unless, of course, you yourself are on the monsters' side.
    You can get rewarded with maximum HP increases (total: 16) and a weapon.

    ...

    That said, most people would still have 3 HP at the invasion, whilst the explorative ones would have 8 HP instead. And Gameplay and Story Segregation is in full effect anyway.

    So, working at last on <em class='bbc'>Hope of Shané: Frost</em>, ignoring six kittens trying to kill me (I'm already covered in blood from their scratching), and so far, I have done nothing but glitch-hunt. Apparently, making title screen intro scenes is <em class='bbc'>hard</em>.

    I remember in that New Game+ demo mod I tested out TSC with, getting scenes to unfold exactly how you want them can require much testing to get it justtt right.

    Though I imagine it doesn't help with six clawing kittens-a-meowing!

    Basically, making a sorceress knock back the protagonist's sister and flying away, while a villager walks to check if the aforementioned sister is alright before she gets up and steps backward, then look at the sky, is hard. Especially the Wait TSC stuff, because one has to time those just right if it's on the screen before the title screen (as it usually goes to the main menu automatically, no matter how long the script is).

    At least it doesn't hurt as much as it should, though I think it's because of my zodiac signs that the kittens are trying to scratch me to death or something.

    I'll be less active, as I'll be helping somebody out with spriting. She'll be making her first mod, and if it helps to make the first version glitch-free, then it has some use, does it not? Besides, it could also help me get over... what happened on 3 March... Sticking around here though is hard due to having to use a proxy server to access these forums; that's why I can't change my avatar unless I go to Gravatar.com and change it there. :/

    All my Cave Story mods are cancelled due to (1) all video games on my computer (except Age of Empires III) were deleted by my father, (2) somebody hacked my MediaFire and 4shared accounts and deleted the backups/downloads, (3) it takes forever to download anything (1 MB = 10 hours for some reason), (4) I fail horribly at giving people different personalities (in Cave Story mods and other projects), (5) because I'm a heartless person who cares about nothing, and (6) because I'm nothing but a useless bloody failure and a worthless idiotic fool and a lifeless boring annoying imbecile that I shouldn't even exist... making me a heartless nobody...
