    I misheard. The two days without electricity was for <em class='bbc'>maintenance</em>. I'll be working hard on <em class='bbc'>Hope of Shané</em> (a long time of procrastination hurts my mind by making me bored until I do it). <strong class='bbc'>GET READY</strong>!

    At the moment, it's <strong class='bbc'>short</strong>. Basically, you start off with no weapons, avoid a bunch of monsters, fall down a pit and somehow survive (thanks to a character of KarjamP, who doesn't appear in this mod yet), try to escape the cave (avoiding monsters as well), find a weapon (an Ice Gun in <em class='bbc'>Frost</em>), run onwards to battle a boss (<em class='bbc'>Frost</em> has Coolio, a Gaudi that uses Balrog's AI) - the boss has to be easy considering how weak the weapon would be - and after victory, continue onwards into town, until you find somebody, then you go home, and take a nap (in <em class='bbc'>Frost</em> the protagonist gets her hair cut without knowing it) and then monsters attack (which is basically an after-demo thing).

    Also, I did some shading with a tileset, but it was so hard that I gave up shading (although how I shaded so many tiles is beyond me, even <em class='bbc'>Cave Story Re:coded</em> has plenty of shaded tiles).

    In terms of length, <em class='bbc'>Into the Unknown</em> is longer.
    Maybe in the few days before release (scheduled on 25/02 if I'm lucky) I'll add part of the Mystery Mines area where the monsters come from.

    And now I'm reminded to enforce getting the Ice Gun in Frost because it's possible to get to the boss unarmed. <img src='http://www.cavestory.org/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/redface2.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':o' />

    The municipality of my hometown decided that the electricity supply will be cut off later today (already 18/02 in SA), so I'll be enforced leaving... My father basically used the f-word and some other things when talking to them, and that's what happens. I'm forced to leave. So, adios for now, amigos. I'll continue writing SCS0, just skipping the chapters with the Earth, Fire and Spirit Masters/Mistresses and any chapters that require them. I'll write those from scratch once they exist.

    SCS Fora are Water, and The Battle Forums is Air.

    Yet the first three mentioned don't have anyone yet, but I'll change that if I return.

    If you add a facepic I'll probably find some way to implement the character in <em class='bbc'>Shane's Cave Story 1</em>... at least I've got four facepics that I won't be using (plus more, I guess).

    Kanpachi made a facepic for a character who already is in SCS1 (and facepics for a character in SotS, but too many facepics make it impossible to see). Said character is Erin. And that was before I asked if Erin could be put in SCS0 (as there's no description of how she went to the floating island).

    Dr. Time (a member from The Battle forums) didn't add pictures for his character, so pictures are basically optional.

    Oh, and the main menu cursor doesn't appear in the main menu, if I remember correctly you said you forgot to send an NpcRegu file or something like that.

    You're reminding me a little of windy, who always talked about how he was really annoying. Windy's actually a very agreeable Guy, just like you. But, he's optimistic. Instead of beating himself up over being "annoying", he embraces it. Windy never annoys me. The only time you annoy me is when you call yourself annoying. Think about that.
