uh, how long to the oob checks in 40c3c0 take?
Now we just need a sonic game and the 3ds will be the ultimate console of all time.I am definitely getting it heck in gamestop if you have a dsi you can trade it in and it lowers the price by 75 bucks.
ok. did you see the thread where they mention announcing cave story 3d i just finished reading and well lets just say i litterally blew up.
ok and hey to you even PLAN to list me on youre website.Im sorry but its been let me think... 2 months since i applied as beta tester. No offense but dude please dont forget me.
hey noxid remember me.Sorry for not coming on lately ive been on the exploding rabbit forums.Ive also been adicted to srb2 a sonic fangame. And 2 pc games megaman x8 and bejeweled So hey a question any current adictions other than cave story or minecraft.

youre somewhat friend and beta tester Marx.
Ell uh I just woke up. I can't really make sense of that now. It's six in the morning.
I'll take a look when I get home, in like thirteen hours.

Although I'm sorta excited to see the sun rise.
Huh. On a completely unrelated note, can you throw me the offset to the entity collision code?
As far as our particle problems go, I think before we do anything drastic, we should try the two ideas we threw around earlier.
Those are all really good points. :(
I just DON'T UNDERSTAND why it's so SLOW!
    GAH!

It has no right to be.
It's perfectly well written code, on a DX9 platform.
    It's all so weird.
yup. I got to 60k before the fps counter began to tweak out, and my comp is 8 years old. Indeed, there should never have been an error with that many particles. Let us try to implement?
The weird thing about this whole business is simply that it SHOULD be faster - that there is no reason why it should be slow. ie, I don't know why/if a different rendering technique would be better/faster, but I think it may be our best bet.

Maybe if we go all dll on it, we could try doing gpgpu. Maybe that would be too much effort.
Or have you discovered anything new? Most of the particle things online have very little trouble with rendering, and can do up to 10,000 before things get sloppy. huh. Maybe we could try seeing how to get the particles calculated on the gpu itself. That way there will be no bus restriction on particles.

Also, after a bit more thunkin' the calc thing wouldn't save THAT much memory.

Also, try running without drawing - where does that cap at?
