In the end, he really is trying to substitute the forum's rules for his own. Hah, how very embarrassing. In the end, he's really just the same as us, those he seems to abhor for stretching the rules just a teeny bit, but he's even worse. He's got a responsibility to these forums, and he misuses it by closing threads without any real thought going solely by his own principles. He's so obsessed with what he sees as "correct" in this matter that he selfishly applies his own ideals like a judge who thinks he's the law and doesn't even pay any mind to the real laws set in place unless they serve his purposes. What he doesn't seem to realize is this, a reason I wouldn't want to be a mod or admin: he serves us, the community of this forum. He didn't gain any real special ability to judge how he pleases, he has to follow the rules just the same, perhaps even more so due to his position. It's like God Hand: it's hard but it's fair.
In other words, he really isn't fit for that position if he's going to act like that. He should follow Shi's example. Shi knows exactly what he's doing and never abuses his powers. Well, sure, he plays with them a bit, but he's never unduly restricted the members before.
