  • I'm nowhere near done with mine either, but I'll still release a demo prolly (though I'll end up being one day late for xmas :()

Sorry, I've been really busy lately, hence my 3-day absence from the forums, and I probably won't have any significant progress on your disassembly thingy until around Christmas. :(
You are not the first to ask this. Sorry but I made it a rule not to mess with postcounts. If everyone wanted their postcount modified because yours was then the postcount feature would become pointless.

If you really want to reduce your postcount then I would recommend doing it yourself. Find your ten most irrelevant or spammy posts (I assume that everyone here has some at least) and delete them. It helps both of us and it isn't at all unfair on anyone.

I assume you want to hit the 1337 post mark on Christmas or New Years right?
I know what they do I was just wondering how they are represented in the exe file. If you don't know off the top of your head, don't bother responding, cause I think I have a chart on my computer at home (I'm at school right now).
    1. Cool
    2. Cool
    3. Well that's not quite what I meant, but you could have gotten away with answering my question with a "Let me google that for you" link, so I'll just google it myself, at some point.

I'll probably have something for you within a week or so.
That should be enough to get me started. I'll let you know if I run into any trouble.

    Just a couple more things:

    1. Are those offsets you mentioned the actual offsets in the *.exe (i.e. as you would use in a hex editor)? I'm guessing not, because 0x4225D5 is over 4 million and the *.exe itself is only 1.41 MB. How do I convert from code offsets to exe file offsets (i.e. convert 0x4225D5 to where that code would be located if I opened the exe in a hex editor)

    2. What does "movsx" mean?

    3. What are the opcodes for the operations used in that code snippet you posted?
The convert to pseudocode sounds doable, but how will the program know what the offsets of the tsc commands are?
Yeah, I'm good at just raw programming with C++ but I don't know how to do anything fancy like graphics or GUI. For that stuff, I use either Liberty Basic, Dark Basic, or Java.
Gossip Girl sounds like a giant pussy fest soaked in estrogen and laid out to dry on a bed of tampons. I've seen advertisements for it, too, so I'm not just judging by its name.
Captain Fabulous will now self-destruct. Have a nice day.
