The point is that threads like those lower people's expectations of what can be posted, and in turn promote and nurture a more spammy environment. The thread was more or less just chaotic posts obsessed with being loud and offensive, and if that mentality spread to the other subforums, well, it wouldn't be pretty.
In the end what I am saying to you is that the adminstration (the owner) of these forums has decided that this will not be a place for such threads, and as these are his forums we will respect and enforce his decisions. -
