Yes, it's me again... I need help with this: I set Sue up with the Curly boss mechanic... but every time the battle starts, Sue doesn't move (she even takes damage from the missiles, which doesn't happen with the Curly boss). The Horiz/Vert Trigger has the same FlagID as Sue's NPC (0460), and the H/V has a Flag ID of 5100 while Sue's has 4200. If I disable the 0460 flag (<FL-0460), the fight starts, but it doesn't exit the cutscene, and when I delete the H/V entity, the fight doesn't start and Sue stays still... What do I do? Did I accidentally hack ASM or what (LOL)? (I ask because she takes damage from the missiles). Of course, when the fight doesn't start and I defeat her, she correctly jumps to the next event.

EDIT: I do it this way because the fight with Igor works that way (I don't use the battle with Curly as a guide because I don't understand it)

What editor are you using? Sky Dragon Editor, Booster's Lab, Cave Editor? If it is Cave Editor, I would recommend switching to Sky Dragon Editor (or trying Booster's Lab) as those have better labels. Cave Editor's labels are old and bad and will get you confused with what it calls things. It will make you confused on what is the Flag ID and what is the Event ID because it mixes it up and calls it something different.

Your cutscene event has <CNP0201, <ANP0201, and <BSL0201 which gives a boss health bar to the entity with event 201. However, the event that you have for after the boss is defeated is #0202.
Your Sue NPC should have event 201 assigned to it, should have the "run event on death" checkbox set, and event #0202 should actually be #0201 (change #0202 to #0201). You want it so that when the boss is killed it runs its event number (201).

Your H/V trigger should have event 200 assigned to it so it runs event #0200 when you touch it. Both Sue and the H/V trigger should have flags / Flag ID 0460 assigned to them. At the bottom of event #0200 you will see the command <DNP0200. This is telling the game to delete entity 200 (which should be the H/V trigger) so it only runs the event once and you can't touch the trigger a 2nd time.

Make sure the H/V trigger has the checkbox for "Disappear on flag" set. This means that if you did the boss fight, flag 0460 should be set, and if it's set then the H/V trigger that starts the boss fight should stop appearing.

You probably want to make a new event like #0220 and change the <FLJ0460:0202 at the beginning to instead be <FLJ0460:0220 . #0220 will then be the event that triggers when you interact with Sue after you finish the boss fight and did the end bossfight cutscene. The code you have runs event 0202 which you don't want to happen when you interact with her later. Event #0201 will run when you defeat Sue, and you only want that to happen once.

In the event that you changed to #0201, <FL+0460 should be before the <ITJ command. <FL+0460 tells the game that you did the boss fight. In the code you posted, if you have the item and it jumps to event #0410, the game is never told that the boss fight completed.

Okay, the image shows the entity properties (Sue with "Disappears if flag is active" and "Run script on death") and the H/V has "Disappear if flag is active" and "Option 1" and "Option 2". Where should I activate flag 0460? If I deactivate it in the H/V, the fight starts, but the button keeps getting pressed, and if I activate it there, the same thing happens...

EDIT: Sorry, after observing further, I managed to eliminate that error and I think I'm fine with the flags, however, Sue still remains static during the fight and continues to receive damage from the missiles.

I looked at the script for the original Curly fight. It uses <ANP0400:0010:0002 to animate the boss entity. You will need to place <ANP0201:0010:0002 at the end of event #0200 . The <CNP command changes it into Curly_Boss, but some bosses also need an ANP to activate and start moving.
PD: What do you think of the map?
The ceiling is a little low. With that small of height during the boss, it will be difficult to jump over Sue's bullets. You can adjust this with testing once the boss properly activates.
