tried to move out of the way from a car while riding a scooter and ended up bouncing off the side of the road and sliding down the hill with that momentum
Two years ago, I was biking with my dad and sisters on a trail that led to a park and a fair. On the way back to the van, I thought my hair tie was kind of loose and wanted to tighten it. Instead of stopping, I took both hands off the handlebar while I was biking, thinking that I would be able to keep my balance easily for three seconds. I didn’t even last a second before I started wobbling and fell to the side, resulting in me completely scraping the left side of my left calf. The immense pain, especially from the gauze, along with the scars, serves as a reminder to always stop the bike before you take both hands off the handlebars.
My dad gave me a pocket knife when I was 8. He warned me about the fact that you can easily cut yourself with it if you are not paying attention. Of course smart ass me immediately cut myself with me. I wasn't even cutting anything. I just opened and closed it.
I've been in a lot of situations where that should've been the case, but I lucked out on a lot of them. The dumbest would probably have been when I was a kid and I touched a jellyfish stinger that had washed up because I thought it would actually shock you like in the movies. Had a bad rash for a couple of days but that was about it.
Oof. Everyone's stories are so interesting, legit the most dangerous thing I've done is floated out to sea on a pool floatie and got caught in a riptide.
"RIP"
Nearly died, was saved. Now I absolutely hate water.
I stuck my fingers into the electrical socket multiple times when I was younger (maybe 2 or 3 years old).
When I was around 8, I lightly cut my eye on a grass blade by messing around with a hole in the net at soccer practice. (Luckily my eye healed and is just fine.)
When I was 10, I got a staple stuck in my right thumb.
Just a week or two ago, I got light cuts on my fingers from trying to adjust my fan and accidentally sticking my fingers inside. (I'm lucky it didn't take my fingers off.)
