• Please stop embedding files/images from Discord. Discord has anti-hotlinking logic in place that breaks links to Discord hosted files and images when linked to from anywhere outside of Discord. There are a multitude of file/image hosting sites you can use instead.

It is common knowledge that WTF Story was cancelled, but I have never heard anything about KSS. In fact I recall Noxid trying (and presumably failing) to revive the mod a month or so after Polar finished making Rave Story.

the only shields i found were the ones that drop after the boss, and sometimes they wouldn't show up.
i did find two secret point bonuses which helped me get an extra life, though.

You get the shields by shooting the first three boss' core(s, yes, multiple) after beating them. After that they only show up as stage items iirc. Note that that max power shield actually drops a protective layer in favour of rotating damage orbs, if you hadn't gotten that far yet.
