• Please stop embedding files/images from Discord. Discord has anti-hotlinking logic in place that breaks links to Discord hosted files and images when linked to from anywhere outside of Discord. There are a multitude of file/image hosting sites you can use instead.

No-one bothers to check gender on someone's profile. I could add gender to the post headers if it helps any, but when gender is unknown we generally fall back on the generic he.

The lack of other effective gender-neutral pronouns in the English language (singular they doesn't count, because it is only singular under specific contexts) means that the generic he is the closest thing we can use without tying ourselves in knots over political correctness. It may sound sexist, but we aren't suggesting that you are dude just because we use the pronouns for it.

Yeah I can quite evidently tell that no one bothers to check profiles. But if other users recognized that I am a female, then it just seems odd that they would keep referring to me as a "he".

Sure, I'm probably making a bigger deal out of it than it should be. I wasn't trying to enact change; I just found it kind of interesting.

I was actually talking to Ralren the other day and at least as the modding community is concerned; It's only going higher and higher especially with NICE and PEONS in dev. But yeah the community is kinda shit in general because of (take offense if you want) people like you who don't exactly think things thoroughly 100% before posting and say immature things often enough to be seen as one of "those" members and lurk enough to post without giving more mature members enough time to (in this case hontondo2) write well though out comments and properly respond to cases where a shitstorm can break out. Be a part of the answer, not a part of the problem. I realize none of us are perfect; but...

UGhh I am so sick of Cave Story. Everyone thinks it's so amazing and the best game ever but in reality, it's just an average indie game that people overhype because of Metroid and Mega Man. I have played all three endings, and this game is NOT good. The change in tone is horrible, the weird graphical changes are atrocious, and the difficulty spikes are stupid. Ballos is also WAY too easy.

@Goerge Bobicles Yes, but this is for the Sega Master System. I think its really cool in all honesty, and I'm amazed with whats been completed so far. While most of this homebrew seems to be barren, the stuff that is complete feels almost identical to what it was on the NES.
