oh my god lois this forum was dead months!

I've translated the Ame Manga into Portuguese (Brazillian).

I've been on a liiittle bit of a hiatus with my Metronari project as other stuff took my attention, but to make it clear it's still being worked on; I have set up the system that will load the game's maps, limit the camera to the room you're in (just like Metronari) and allow it all in an open format to make custom levels possible.
Next up will be setting up the scripting before I can focus on actual game mechanics again (which is probably more interesting to read/talk about).

Hey, there's a Russian spambot running riot over the forums. can someone please ban this idiot? Thanks, so far the first 3 pages of the threads list have been swallowed by this nonsense. Already reported the member and as many of the posts as I felt like, so it should be easy to find.

i finally got my winXP PC fully up and running! it has speakers, a functional graphics card, and most importantly a CD rip of the silent hill 2 soundtrack

anyway, obligatory evergreen progress report: for those that missed the thread, the modgala demo (+ several bugfix updates) is now live - this is the version of the game playable to the first ending+credits! my orgestrator, Dredged Crusader, has recently completed the tracks for the credits, so i hope to release a small bonus update soon, but i would like to finish the 'bad' ending first... after this, the planned updates for this demo are:
- finish freeroam mode
- expand on the second phase of the (current) final boss and fix the rect issue on the first phase
- some minor additions and tweaks
- implementation of the optional boss and its related content (finalisation of the secret weapon upgrade, third joke ending)

...all of these things will be released at some point this year depending on my coursework and unpredictable motivation; once they're complete i will begin development on the second ending route's content
