why would you buy it

Now i know i have cs+ but that was part of the hib4 which i got as a gift. Say that you already have the normal cave story why would you buy it think about it and dont say it has more features or something like that, who knows maybe the money doesnt even go to pixel himself (or very little at that, correct me if im wrong).

But it does have more features and the money does partly go to Pixel. Double res is not allowed on PC except CS+, so there you have it.

I had that first post shut down because of spam and restated the first post for my second post so it was clear to people what i was asking the first time and this is a new post about something else......... i guess im a 14 year old troll that needs pitying.

For windfortress? That's mostly the reason I wanted it.

 

If you love the free Cave Story and are in a position to give something back, getting CS+ is probably an easy way to show your support~

If you've never played CS before though, then CS+ might be a better choice due to having more features for the original game. Not to mention the soundtrack and art differences...
Not everyone jumps on the retro look right away, so the new art and music might help convince one to play~

Then there's the whole Steam community thing... If you have a bunch of friends you could all play CS+ and compete for achievements/scores and chat about it...

But, if you're just buying the game for Wind Fortress... I wouldn't consider it a selling point after playing through it. Don't get me wrong, it was fun... but it's just an extra challenge.

I'm more interested in all the free mods the community has developed... [available for the free PC version]

 

Because, confess it, you're all buying it because it IS Cave Story.
Brand loyalty obviously.

 

It's about 9/10 loyalty and about 3/40 Wind Fortress.
And 1/40 New Graphics, because dayum gurl. Who wouldn't tap dat double res Misery, I mean honestly.
