Ok, so I'm looking to purchace a gaming headset, and the one I have my eyes on right now are the Razer Megalodon... But before spending about $130-ish on a headset, are there any better ones I should be aware of? I know we have some very smart people here, are there any headsets that have better quality?

Thanks.

Also, would you recommend I get a USB headset (The megaloson is a USB headset) or an analog headset (I also have earbuds that I already use for stuff like listening to music)

Smart people don't spend 130 dollars on a headset.

Also, go analog. And do not get earbuds, earbuds are stupid.

Okay, I'd say go for the Razer Carcharias.
For $70 (much less than megolodon), you get just as good sound quality, they're actually more comfortable (Megalodon is plasticy, Carcharias are like velvet), AND it uses separate headphone and microphone jacks (Megalodon is USB only) so you can use them with your iPod too. If you really prefer USB, pick up a headphone/microphone jack to USB converter at newegg.com for like $10.

They do bleed sound a little, but almost any ambient noise blocks it out.
Also, the Megalodon requires you to install PC Only software to use them, and it's a buggy program.
Carcharias for sure.
