So it turns out I'm not quite "done with this" yet, but I'm definitely moving at my own pace.

To step out of my character in this thread for a bit, I'm designing a section of my website specifically for webcomic and I want some feedback on the design. Link for purposes of demonstration: http://noxid.ca/webcomic/test.php

Very early prelim right now, just roughing out a concept. Do you think it fits? Would you have imagined something different / have a better idea? Please let me know.

I think it's okay. nice and simple, before I clicked the link I thought it might have been black+white or greyscale to match your comics.

i love everything the background and banner. i would make sure everything is centered, put the content in a more lightly colored box in the bottom, and remove the border on the comic. it would look kinda like this:

I agree with sexpy, except instead of using a normal box for the descriptions I would put a badly drawn one. Also I would decenter some of the elements, just because fuck rule(r)s.
And I'd adopt a custom "badly handwritten" font for everything maybe??
