probably the worst holiday because at my school they make a big deal out of it with chocolates and candy you can buy and get all in your face about who you like and drama

and they'll fill up my inbox with mail with such titles as "it's the BEST TIME of the YEAR" advertising their sick shit which only exists to make people feel better about themselves and make people like me just sort of feel like shit

I like these kind of celebrations. I remember I`ve brought a big bag of candy for the girls even at the university for women`s day (8 of March), Valentine`s day is nice too ;)

M'eh, you have a point, but I still think it's kinda weird that we just randomly pick one day out of the year to celebrate love; you should love your friends/family/etc regardless of what day it is. I kinda feel that way about a lot of holidays actually. Like New Year's resolutions; why limit yourself to only making resolutions on New Year's?

It would just be weird if I gave my friends valentines. I don't "love" most of my friends, and the ones I do know it anyway. Doing something special on Valentine's Day is for lovers. That's the tradition now, deal with it.
