I thought you could increase it by making more content posts, but the uploader is a hassle to use for the most part. It's better to just upload whatever you want to share to another site an link/embed it from here.

Mediafire and dropbox are good options for general files. For images I would recommend photobucket.

Just share a link or use dropbox. But there isn't a huge problem with the current system. I still haven't run out of space (yet.)
