I'm trying to challenge myself with a really hard playthrough. But alas I dont have any ideas, so if anyone wants to give me some that would be great.

 

Beat the game without your computer turned on

 

Play the game without a keyboard. Instead, use your mouse to click the virtual keyboard. Sacred Grounds should be impossible interesting.

 

Minimal items run, but you have to start over from your last save if you level up one of your weapons.

Also the last is a pacifist run, like in Iji.

Combine Minecraft Hardcore with Cavestory+ Hardmode! (If you die, you have to start all over ). If you don't have Cavestory+, you can do minimal items plus Hardcore.

 

I think that really ceases to be a challenge after a point, and just becomes stupid. Deleting the save function doesn't provide any more of a challenge than regular hardmode does, it just prolongs the experience.

 

Ok well i'm going to start the pacifist run, sounds like a really good idea.

He can't charge the Spur because that levels it up!

 

Haha, the only weapon I can use on a 3 hp run, is a level 1 polar star.
