Tribute Site Update Poll #2: Screenshots

I'll have to reintroduce this thing since the first one disappeared as a side effect of the downtime we had.

Basically this is where I ask forum members for approval or disapproval on various update ideas or for you to submit your own ideas if you wish.

The question is: Should there be a screenshot section under "Game Info"?

Anyways, I go for choice number 2 OR 3 (2 mostly because I dunno if people care much about screenshots except for the ones in the About section). A lotta sites have a screenies page though, so I'm not sure. O_o

This is the second time in a row that has happened with one of my polls.

I was flabbaghasted when someone from this forum actaully said NO. D:

Well anyways I go with option 2, as i feel that it would be easy for other people who visit the tribute site to find pics on how the game actually looks like. It would entice them to play without making them go through the trouble of searching all over the tribute site to find the screenies

There should be. It's hard to promote something without good lotta pics, as far as my experience goes. At least screenshots show several parts of the game and the qualities in it, and a section made for screenshots leaves room for sub-sections.

There are, but not a proper screenshot section.

 

Ignore the third option, and you'll get an enquiry of whether a screenshot page is needed. Agree with Metalogz' post, 2nd line, and you're left with just option 2.

i think screenshots are only needed on the about page and maybe one or two on the download page, maybe that picture of curly that comes in the cs help folder could go well on the download page

The news about the site being up has been in a sticky thread since the 12th with the site being finished around the.. 7th or 8th maybe? *shrug*

Not a problem really since I have Photoshop, Fireworks, and The Gimp which is more than enough for me.

 

Cool, but this one's special- it's a web-based suite of image editors for the traveler.

Anyhow, I won't bug you anymore about it.
