The psn is coming BACK!

Finnally after three weeks (wich honestly felt like an eternity) FINNALLY the psn is coming back.It isnt completely back but so far everything but the playstation store is back so here you can talk about the outage and anything you're planning to do now that the fixing process is almost done.

 

I plan to do the same thing I was doing before it crashed, which is not playing a playstation.

 

Heard about it last night.

Like with Noxid, I'm not going to use it much anyway. Sony has been going down hill awhile now IMO. The new PS phone thingie promised "many classic PS1 titles" and right now it only has five... each with under 1000 downloads.

A lot of my friends were on the verge of buying a PS3, but the outage has convinced them to get an Xbox.

 

so how do they plan to recover all the information that was compromised hmmm?

I have nothing against Sony, and I personally prefer their system over the Xbox.
Though honestly, I never actually owned one, which means this didn't effect me in the least.

Because it is. In general you don't get anything extra out of online gaming than you do singer player games.

On topic, I haven't really missed the PSN very much, I didn't put in my credit card number, and I don't go online with it.
But it's nice to have an idea of what the Sony representatives are going to be talking about at E3...

There is nothing that is provided by online gaming that isn't provided by single player gaming.

Also, online gaming as a whole is overrated and far too much importance is put into than needs to be. Every game nowadays just gotta have online gaming for no real reason at all, often times the actual content of a game is not fully developed because game makers have to appeal to the idiotic ignorant masses by adding online play to their games.

Some games are meant for online play, however when online play starts invading just about every new game you have a problem.

Well while on one hand i agree that online multiplayer isnt supposed to be the focus of the game. On the other hand online gaming is still important because of a simple reason,There wont be anything to do after that. What will you do after finding every secret,pwning the final boss and watching the ending what are you gonna do? I agree that sometimes there can be some annoying people out there still,that isnt what all internet gamers are composed of.
