The Most Funny-Nonsense Cave Story mod

So yeah I am actually making a Cave Story parody and it is seriously funny xD
So yeah, before you'll test it, it contains a rude language, sexy stuff and a lot of nonsense/retarded moments
it becomes really funny from the Grasstown sequence (called Weed Zone in the mod)

Yeah, this mod isn't even funny at the slightest. Too many overused memes, too much dick jokes, and apparently, King's the best rapper in Mimiga Village, so he challenged Sue to a rap battle "It's rapping time, baby!", and Sue got served.

 

As far as I've seen, this is just a "Cave Story, except different" mod.
Although I've seen cases where that would work a bit, this mod doesn't really hit it for me.
Particularly because there hardly are any things that change gameplay.

 

I was going to work on a mod this evening, so why not throw that plan out the window and play this instead?

This mod is one of the worst mods, if not the worst, I've played in months. Every single attempt you made at humour fell flat, there were countless cases of bad spelling and grammar, your TSC was broken in a few places... the list goes on and on. I lost the will to go on after making it a short distance into Sand Zone, but judging from the save list you shouldn't have included this goes all the way until Sacred Grounds. How anyone could stomach that much "humour" is beyond me.

Why is the 4th ending mod's Saves folder in the archive?
Judging by that one bullet-only ceiling tile in the start of Sand/Rape/Chips Zone, I'm guessing this mod uses the 4th ending mod as it's base.

 

Honestly, this mod is complete garbage. There IS a good way to do mods-that-are-basically-just-Cave-Story-yet-again™, but this isn't it. The mod is full of tiring, boring, memes which often hamper the game; like the "Do you really really really really really want to not save?" one which gets on my nerves especially because I SAVE A LOT. SORRY FOR FEARING LOSS-OF-PROGRESS.
I haven't gone into WeedWhatever, but I have faith that the rest of the mod will be just as poorly executed and boring. I am somewhat sick of vanilla Cave Story, (and the added bullshit don't help) if you're going to make one of the mods-that-are-basically-just-Cave-Story-yet-again™ then make one properly, don't do what NICALiS did with Curly's Story. Make some of the enemies stronger, give the player a different starting weapon with new stats, put a new spin on some of the level design, but most important: Don't change JUST the story.

Anyways, Zxin made a valid point. If you're going to make a parody of Cave Story, you should at the very least spice up the levels so the average Cave Story veteran doesn't fall into a boredom-induced coma. You went in the opposite direction, what with removing a lot of bosses and all. There are many other things that need working on, of course, but this is merely an example.

 

I gotta say, despite the fact that you stole a mod and claimed as your own, Rys, you sure did put in precautions to prevent the 4th ending from happening, even through hacking. That still doesn't mean that Hayden's mod is officially your mod now, though.

It doesn't really matter that he used my mod as a base to make something different. As long as he's not trying to copy me and goes to as least some effort to make the fourth ending content inaccessible or removes it, he doesn't need permission to use my mod as a base for his mod.

Even if rysoriginal is utilizing 4th ending content intentionally, as long as he lets me know, I usually don't have much of an issue with people doing this kind of thing.

I used one of Bionicobot's mods as a base for Surface because I wanted to use the blade hack where it automatically does the map attack on level 3, I did however take extensive care not to use anything else from His mod though, and I did ask him first.
