The hardest achievements you've ever achieved

You beat Red? I tried to hire a person to beat him in my heart gold game, but he gave away my game...

 

All I recommend for beating Red is to NOT use Flying types, Lugia/Ho-oh, or Furret when facing him. The grinding part is not friendly, whether it's killing wild pokemon at Mt. Silver or rematching the Elite Four (the lesser of both evils).

 

You guys had trouble with Red? Did you not have any other gen 4 games or something? I just transferred over high-level Pokemon I already had.

Soul Silver was my first Pokemon cartridge game. I am giving some good pokemon from Platinum to Soul Silver now that my little cousin's playing it.

 

All I used was a level 92 Typhlosion with Thunderpunch (for Blastoise, Charizard, and Lapras), flamethrower (for Venusaur), earthquake (for Pikachu), and Double kick for Snorlax. (I was that committed to making the perfect Typhlosion and it worked) Ever since my newest goal is to just Johto with only my fire starter, so far at Clair.

I think I may have done that too
Although I'm pretty sure I used the sacred ash or whatever there
My highest level Pokemon was 81 I think

Beat Battletoads and Silver Surfer on an NES with a regular controller. I also got the max completion in Super Meat Boy.

We are totally going to beat 2-player Battletoads and don't you ever forget it. Rat Race eventually.

What's hard about him is if you're out of magic energy, or just have 4 hearts (that's most of my runs, with 4 hearts)

The reason I said that is because a lot of the people here have done it, and even done speed runs. Yes, nobody that's horrible at video games could beat it, but I know that I would never get to that level of skill where I could speed run it super fast.

 

Beated Hell on easy (CS+) but haven't tried it on normal. Allmost beated Super Meat Boy's world 7 (can't beat the last level.), I managed to speedrun VVVVVV under an hour and got through most of Wings of Vi on angel. It's not that much, I mean I'm a mediocore gamer but I'm kinda proud of myself.

The hardest achievement ever for me:

Playing mercenaries 2 on PC. That port is worse than Sainsts Row 2, and that's saying a lot. Hell, Crysis runs better than that on my Intel hd laptop..

 

That port is worse than Saints Row 2

Beating the game hard mode, very tricky and something that any novice can rip their hair out for. Did you get the normal ending or the best ending? Getting the best is a nightmare, still doing it to this day....

 

Mine would definitely have to be the time when on Terraria 1.2 (Before the Fishron stuff came out) I reached wave 15 on the Pumpkin Moon, solo, as a melee class, on a touchpad.


On another occasion were also the multitude of times when I had these extremely lengthy Risk of Rain run, lasting a good number of hours.

This screenshots is one of such runs, this one was somewhere mid to late game, and by late game I mean the game crashed >~<;;

These crashes happened on many occasions, the only time a game ended without crashing was when I decided to go fight the final boss, all was peachy until he pulled off this cheap attack that negates my health to one point DX (Admittedly it was my first time fighting him, so I didn't know what to expect ^_^; )

 

Terraria, Deceiver of souls(or fools, i can't remember)- Kill the nymph. It was very hard, cuz the nymph is extremely rare and i spent many, many, MANY hours farming monsters in snow biome with a stack of battle potions and 2 water candles :I
