Make your own mario levels!

I played with the level maker some, it's not as good as BL (shots fired) but I think it's simple and easy to use.
Some levels online aren't that great but the self completing ones are awesome, almost as awesome as completing the levels with unfair difficulty.

I made some levels already today

I dont have the time or money for mario maker but I'd be interested in getting it to poke around with the editor. I heard you can do some pretty fun stuff.

The interface is pretty clean, to unlock everything you have to play about 8 or 9 hours or wait 9 days to unlock everything (while playing at least 5 minutes a day) That's the only real flaw with it, but I guess you can't give 9 year olds everything at the start.

Boo circles in question blocks, Homing bill cannons riding lakitu clouds stacking mega koopa's on top of para-goombas, it is a lot of fun to mess around with.

It's the first Wii U game I've ever been hype about, also the first title I've bought within 24 hours of release date.

Awesome to see a thread about this. I was excited for Mario Maker ever since it was announced, and it really is a blast to play. Apparently they patched the game to remove the 9-day unlock prerequisite, but it doesn't seem to be working for many people (including myself). It's a minor flaw in an otherwise fantastic game.

Levels:
First Cave: F556-0000-0031-19CC. I decided to make a Cave Story-themed level to share with the forums. It's definitely harder than vanilla First Cave, haha.
Air Man: C135-0000-001B-2BAC. With all of the tools available, it's fun to remake levels from other games. Because of that, I think this level came out pretty faithful and enjoyable.
Take to the Skies!: B84B-0000-0024-D85F. I wanted to make a propeller-themed level because it's a fun powerup to use.

My Nintendo Network ID is, of course, Tpcool. Post your ID and let me know if you add me :D
Also, if you enjoyed the First Cave level, let me know if you think I should make more Cave Story-themed levels. It was fun to make and I think there's a lot of potential for puzzle based platforming with them.

Both of these levels are good! Maybe it's because a lot of the levels I've played in 100 Mario Challenge range from mediocre to awful, but both have been some of my favorites so far. I especially like bill valley because of the various routes you can take to beat the level (I'm a sucker for replayability). I think if you added an option to go into the pipe at the beginning and maybe some more enemies to the top path, it would've been even better.

This game looks very enjoyable. Unfortunately, I cannot and will not be purchasing nor playing it, since I don't have a Wii U and don't plan on buying one.

I wish I could purchase the game, but the charger for my Wii U controller broke a few weeks ago and I haven't used it since then.

Mario Maker didn't interest me too much from the announcement, but it seems to have turned out to be a pretty robust and very fun level editing system. I love what I've heard of the enemy interactions in particular! ^_^

The most modern system I have is a Wii, so I won't be playing it anytime soon. But it's nice to see people enjoying it!

Googled in here from a search for "Cave Story Mariomaker". Nice work on the Egg Corridor, QuoteHax.

Most of it was fun. I like how the beginning seems impossible at first but isn't too hard once you figure out how to work the physics in your favor. The end really bugs me though... do I absolutely need the lakitu cloud to get past? I missed it on my first attempt. And do I also need the buzzy beetle shell? I missed it the first time I got the lakitu cloud, and the second time I somehow put it on my head, so I gave up.

Well, initially the shell wasn't needed, but when you get the hang of getting around the corners in the end, it felt too easy. I may end up changing it, though, if you think it needs it.

Well, I've since updated the level and here it is. Warning: it's probably harder.

I hope it was fairly obvious that BL stands for Boosters Lab, not BL_SCOTT or BLink
