This would be perfect along with that Mario mod!

 

If you're gonna do something like this, I'd really recommend replacing every asset in the game.

I wonder what the weapons will be like? Besides the fireball, of course

 

I do have some suggestions.

The blade could be Mario's Hammer
Fireball could be Fireball
The Booster (0.8 and 2.0) could be the FLUDD
Hell, combine that with the Nemesis and it'll look like you're shooting with it! (Reverse the projectile order with ASM, and you'll need the EXP to "refill it", also replace the Smoke it generates with the water drops with ASM)

I don't know enough Mario power ups to compare to the other weapons

Sounds cool, but I don’t think this pack is meant to change any of the gameplay mechanics.

The only new thing he did for the mod was paste the smb tiles in the Stage bitmaps, he may as well just upload those rather than the whole package.
