Stupid Story: The Worst Mod Ever

Hi everyone. I was messing around in Cave Story with Sue's Workshop when I noticed it wasn't functioning properly. I was directed to Cave Editor, which led me to asking about scripts, which led to some other stuff, which led to this:

I wouldn't say this is a full blown "mod." It's really incomplete and there's a few places that need total reconstruction (the script for Grasstown ugh), but it is playable and I'm still working on it. Huge thanks to the people who put up with my stupid questions to teach me this stuff and to Mr. Fist for showing me Cave Editor and testing like four versions of the mod. Enjoy.

Hey, how did you make that mushroom in the Graveyard spurt heaps of blood when you attack it, and how did you make it have a big explosion when it dies? I thought that was pretty funny :greydroll:.

Enemy stacking: there was like a dozen of them all on top of each other.

Anyway on a whole it is quite silly.

I played it, but didn't notice a whole bunch of things that were changed. I noticed that the dialogue for King, Toroko, and Jack was changed. First Cave was really, odd. The Graveyard, of course. The Reservoir with the floating Chinfish, and a whole ton of them in the water. :p Some, other, very slight redesigns, but nothing much, as far as I could tell. Is there more than that? I thought it was kinda funny, and it's not exactly what you'd call the worst mod ever.

Grasstown is different.
Also, he's right you know. The worst mod ever is Super Street Nito's Journey Turbo EX edition. (the EX stands for sodomy)

So after looking back at the mod and some guides, I decided that if I was actually going to keep working on this I would try to do it right. So, I'm totally starting over. Cave Editor isn't exactly being agreeable, but I think it works for the most part. It's only 4 rooms so far, and some flags are messed up. It ends when you get to Arthur's House, by the way. I haven't done the rest yet.

Ok, so me and Mallow are kinda workin' on this together. I'm gonna be doing some minor sprite/script edits (Fistpatches) and post them here before Mallow puts them into the update.
(Fistpatch 1 is included in the newest version of Stupid Story and is no longer needed.)
