That's not an excuse to deflect criticism (I'm still actively trying to fix the mistakes made in the process of

Okay so, watching HyMyNameIsMatt stream has shown me that the are MAJOR flaws in the game, the very ending of the game being one of them.

I'm gonna try and rework the mod in the next few days, so look out for a 2.0 soon. And if you haven't started playing yet, you really oughta wait, unless you enjoy suffering.

 

This is awesome. Incredibly difficult, but that's okay because of the amazing checkpoint system. Keep up the good work!

But yah, I'll definitely play this when you think it's ready.

 

Re-added the download link now that I added a few savepoints and changed the final area up somewhat.

It should be a bit less hellish (heh) to complete, while still (hopefully) staying as difficult as it needs to be for a mod like this.

Ok after getting to the end of this game. I found some life capsules that are so hard to get I couldn't even stand it for an hour before getting enough patience to try again. But honestly I still love this I give it 9/10.

 

I love this mod so much. So much of it is so great, like the save points and awesome camera moving thing. This is probably one of the first mods I've ever played that I actually want to finish...

Also, might I add a suggestion: Put an H/V at every respawnpoint that'll set the room to focus on one portion again, because I've had the screen pan around like in normal Cave Story upon respawning lots of times.

Oh! I forgot about that bug. It's an issue with the Camera.

I'll fix it.

 

Polar I swear your life capsule placement is juts so devilishly clever...
Especially the fifth one.

 

This is a mod I could play forever, and never beat without playing for a few hours straight.
I love the MoonLitCastle with its music, but its hard as hell. It makes me feel like CS2HN is dirt hard compared to
your mod.

So far I give it a 8.5/10 A mod I recommend to anyone with a heart that's ready for it.

Also I'm technically in the contest too (Hell Challenge aka CS2HN).

 

I say, that this is the best hell mod I've ever played.


My only complaint is that after you launch that .exe thingy ALL THE SHAKING OF TEH SCREEN

I can't control myself hardly.


And I can't put my finger on where the song is from in the metal works it's driving me crazy

 

Anyone know a method of reducing how much the screen shakes? It is a nice atmosphere effect but God damn does it make a certain part of the mod hard to play.

 

I honestly like the shaking screen, something about it makes me fell like i'm Quote trying to keep on going while the the ground is shaking.
