I did turn notifications off for that very reason. But yeah I didn't want to try and catch up with thousands of messages while also keeping track of what others were saying at that moment. And I'm not really close with any of you guys anyway so...I didn't see much of a point :v

Isn't the point of the Skype group to talk with others? Depending on how long conversations go (as well as who's active to participate), it's no wonder that it can go past 1000 a day.
