I do have Pokemon Y, though haven't touched it in awhile due to lack of postgame content. I suppose if anyone wants to battle, I could, but don't expect me to have super souped-up Poke's.

As for Smash, well...can't get it until Christmas. Ya'll have fun...

I don't know why everyone is pumped to play a FIGHTING GAME on a tiny ass screen and an unwieldy sliding disk for a control stuck (plus no c stick). Maybe it's because I have a regular 3DS and have giant yaoi hands and I'm old? Idk. I'm just waiting until I get a Wii-U (which will be who knows when). I'm sure the hype and ejaculation over it will still be going on.

Why not? FC: 4854-6670-9169.
From the demo, I've played a lot of Megaman and a good amount of Mario and some Link. Plan to learn Yoshi sometime soon when I get my hands on a copy of the game.

A lot of the hype from 3DS is probably because it's the only handheld in the series. Smash is really fun to play with friends for me, but it's so damn difficult when you have to plan days to meet up for it.

Eh, Smash has been fine for me since I usually play by myself or do long-distance multiplayer, rather than crowding around locally. I got used to the sliding disk thanks to Kid Icarus Uprising and such. Plus eh, I think Control Sticks have always been used for Smash Bros more often than not, so that helped me adapt.

Also getting the game today in a few hours. Cannot wait.

Got Smash about 2 hours ago. Making a Mii of Jenn as a Brawler and customizing her to suit my tastes is really fun. Smash Run is great too.

Some folks shot the idea down before, but I was thinking of having some times to play, maybe during weekend. Such as 7-9PM EST (4-6PM PST). Worked in the other forums that had a thread like this before.

The moment I have a chance to get SSB4 I know I'm going to get it and the moment I get it I know it's going to be all I'm going to play... Shit, I need to play Fire Emblem Awakening while I can. I did get a chance to play Smash Bros. yesterday and oh god Jigglypuff and Bowser are now incredibly overpowered I am going to play as Jigglypuff a lot now. But yeah, it was fun, out of all the characters I played as, my favorite was probably Palutena, she was just fun to play as. Can't wait to play it.

Had my first bouts online with TLinc and Kayya this night. I'll say, the matches went relatively smoothly until the last match near the end of Magicant. Not sure what the heck happened, but overall it was a satisfying 7 rounds.

Curious, but how do you guys feel about the customizable stats and movesets? Prefer timed or stock matches? I like the customization personally, it pretty much allows me to never get bored with a character since I'll still be experimenting with specific builds. Plus being a Lucario with shit defense but uber high damage? Yes please (Also the damage multiplier was at 1.3x you two. Figured the better launching power would make things go by faster).

I'm more used to time battles, though I can also stock battles. As for customization, I'm fine with it, though I won't be using it that often with the Nintendo characters. It's funner customizing movesets when making mii fighters.

I like the customization, even though some characters have pretty respectable moves already. I think even if you don't change the moves, at least try to give your character increased stats. (Finding a balance where all three stats are positive is kinda meh on some characters)

I prefer stock, as you aren't bound by time. Also in time, it's possible to just wait until the end and clean up and win by doing very little where as stock you have to always be fighting. Stamina is also a good choice example of this.

Even though I do prefer stock in just about any battle, I have to disagree with you regarding your point about waiting. It's even easier to wait in a stock match and clean up afterwards because if you do the same in a timed match, you may not get enough points to win. Timed matches are the easiest way to prevent your opponents from hiding off on the edge of the map.

I guess I was talking about a 4-player time match in particular. I also agree that its very easy to wait in a stock, but I think it's more noticeable in stock when someone's stalling whereas a person in time could get slip past with 2-3 KO's. (Reasoning for this, is that you can see the stock of others, but you can't see the score of others unless that special option is turned on) Inb4 Keep track of score yourself noob comment

Eh I guess I'll join in on the fun here my FC: 3136-7131-4127
I got smash bros on the day it came out so i already got all the characters unlocked and I find Pac-Man the most fun to play as for some reason.
I also play Pokemon Y but I'm kinda stuck on it right now cuz I can't make my togekiss learn the moves it needs to be good.

"Strong launches in the Americas, Europe and Australia* have propelled the cumulative sales total for Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS is more than 2.8 million sold worldwide. "

"To keep the momentum going, Nintendo has unveiled the launch date of the Wii U version of the fighting game. Super Smash Bros. for Wii U will launch in North America on Nov. 21, just in time for the heart of the holiday shopping season, at a suggested retail price of $59.99."

Also they have a Bundle where you get the Game, A Gamecube Controller, and a Gamecube Controller Adapter for $99. Guess what I'm getting. The Adapter itself is only $20 though, so if you already have enough controllers, get that.

Amiibo Stuff - The Core Details are they release the same day as Smash Bros U and cost $12.99 Each. The spoiler just links what the first wave of figurines will be.
"As previously announced, the first wave of amiibo includes Mario, Peach, Yoshi, Donkey Kong, Link, Fox, Samus, Wii Fit Trainer, Villager, Pikachu, Kirby and Marth. The second wave that launches in December includes Zelda, Diddy Kong, Luigi, Little Mac, Pit and Captain Falcon."

So yeah, about 45 Days (5 Weeks, 3 Days) until Smash Bros Wii U comes out. Oh god, the wait.
