I was invited to a doctors conference organized by a medical Society - doctors came from the neighboring 4-5 countries. They were talking about: Adam and Eve, creationism, "all those who think differently are not human beings" and that the theory of evolution is the cause of our troubles (like the Holocaust). The foolishness of the SETI program because we are PROVEN to live alone in the universe. "Science should stop asking questions instead we should all kneel before Jesus C"
Sadly these are emeritus professors and such. Imagine a room full of around 200 doctors.
Nobody did leave.
I wanted to leave the room - out of protest- but decided to stay just to listen what else they can come up with.
"It is harmful that you teach a baby other languages other than it's native language because it will do serious psychological harm and identity crises" a quote from a psychologist's presentation.
Sorry I am throwing all this at you. My own parents (university professors) said if it was not me who told them all this they would have not believe. I could not believe.
Also I have learned the valuable message that it is better for a priest to turn toward the altar and showing his bottom to the audience then the other way how it is done today. Also theft was legalized during the socialist era (and I assume it was by no means present at the earlier, church controlled era lol)
Not sure what was the bigger scandal: the things that were said or the fact that of us 200 nobody had left in protest BUT CLAPPED.
We also need to be careful since "Satan grins behind the Tv and computer monitor and children should not have access these"

Okay, so unless you're not a native English speaker, I can't take your word for it, because your grammar and syntax is killing me.

I'm assuming that since you are a doctor, you must be fluent in the language you speak.

I agree with this, if people come to your country to live there(and not just for a short time, but more like at least a few years), they should know how to speak the native language.
I see too much people in my country who speak other languages than the native language here (Dutch or one of the related languages), German 0r English to their children and to each other, which makes me wonder if they actually know the native language or how they even manage to live here. This can really be bad if a child goes to a school where a different language is spoken than the child knows.

Just because we use science to make discoveries that engineers can use to develop new technologies doesn't mean that religion is the (wrong) alternative. There are a lot of things that didn't contribute to the Apollo program. Like Kool-Aid [citation needed]. Doesn't mean Kool-Aid is holding back our technological progress. It may not be good for you, but it's still nice to have.

Personally if you have to believe in some god without the need of faith and still believe in science, then nature is the go. No I don't mean in some environmentalist tree-hugger way. I mean that nature, the personification of causality itself, is still the most powerful force in our world and is the closest thing to a god you can interact with in this world.

As I said before, religion [And not just nature] and science can co-exist. One can believe/follow/utilize both at once.

Also, the Church believes that it is not teir call to judge, like if someone believes in jibbers crabst, they arent supposed to say "youre going to hell for that!" People unfortunately still do however...so it is not the religion, but certain people IN religions.

I agree with this. I think that science and religion shouldn't conflict. Largely in part to the fact that it may cause some people to bias results.

Not everyone is capable of the level of faith that most religions entail. Not everyone chooses to be an athiest/agnostic.

Alright to explain this better:
We all have beliefs, you don't need blind faith to believe in something, and you don't need a religion to believe in something. Belief systems don't start and end with religion, they extend to almost everything and manifest in completely different ways.
