S4 League

Okay, guys, so there's this game here. It's called S4 League.

It's basically a just an online shooter, but it's got lots of acrobatics and dodging like GunZ. Ralren tells me that it plays a small bit like Gears of War. It's got a futuristic setting, and it is CLEARLY Asian-made, but that doesn't make it bad.

Honestly, no description, videos, or anything will do it justice. You just have to try it. If you're really interested in how it looks, here's a video:

One question, though, does it download external maps or does it keep it simple, like Quake Live?

Yeah, it's pretty cool, me and Fire1052 play it all the time.

The game needs to be downloaded, but once downloaded, it's done. It's free to play too.
No patches or anything, not that I know of. The music in the game kind of sucks though. Fire usually makes the servers, so I can't tell you if you download any external maps.

 

Yeah, if we get enough of us to play, we can make a clan and we can skip all of the work and play by ourselves with no outside intrusions.

They do update the game monthly, and I think they update the client download when they patch, so that's probably why we didn't have to do anything.

 

Yeah, I think it would be more fun to have more people from the forums to play, I'm sick of owning Fire1052 over and over again.

It doesn't lag for us... Gunz lagged for me a lot, too, and I live on the US East coast...

I gave this a try. Great game, plenty of variety and customization, all that good stuff. I'm not a big fan of chaser, but Touchdown and Deathmatch are fun (most of the time). I like to go with Rail gun, SMG and Revolver so I'm effective at any range. What weapons do you guys use?

 

Currently it's Storm bat, Rail Gun, and Revolver, though I'm going to consider getting a handgun, simply becuase it's the lightest weapon and has the least effec on speed, which make s it perfect for chaser.

What do you go by Noxid in S4?

 

I picked MGNoxid, because apparently there's some other Noxid out there and I would hate for anybody to get confused.

Revolver, Plasma Sword, Railgun. Srsly. I haven't gotten a chance to try out the new Burst Shotgun because I'm stuck in that new login bug.
