I figure this goes here.

Anyway, the website has viruses and malicious content on it.
ESPECIALLY for Internet Explorer.

Explanation: I was looking for a game on the website when suddenly,
YOUR COMPUTER MAY BE AT RISK FOR VIRUSES!
NOW SCANNING WITH VIRUSSCANSOMETHING7!

[OK]
TWO of these boxes came up, and were labeled with internet explorer.

I immediately opened task manager, and I hit the end process button SO MANY FREAKING TIMES.

Now scanning for viruses. I never clicked any advertisements, I never clicked anything but the button for the Misc. genre of games.

If only it were so simple...

I don't know if that's ArmorGames specifically {Norton says it's a good, clean site}, I think pop-ups/ads are just getting fiercer...
That's not the only place to have that happen, I get crap like that all the time on MediaFire, just by trying to download a file...

I get that here and there on pretty much any website. I also lawl every time because the window that pops up looks like windows XP and I'm on Mac. Bitches can't fool me ;)

Yeah, it does happen a lot with mediafire.

ArmorGames is pretty good, I don't see many ads since I've got an ad-blocker and pop-up blocker. Maybe you should try em too.

Why can't pop-ups just be ads? Come on...

They weren't real virus boxes, they were pop-ups that were pretending to be viruses, yet still crashed your browser anyway. Not helpful, right?

(Also, getting strange pop-ups on a site like miraigamer is definitely NOT a good sign).

It's possible that the pop-ups are not the fault of the websites, but because of spyware. Lots of people have weird malware they're not even aware of.

I recommend Spybot for anti-spyware.

Again, malware may not be the cause of the problem, but it's definitely something to consider.
