I have been addicted to Jean Jacques Perrey ever since I heard "Brazilian Flower". His music is so happy. This is one of my favorites by him.

10/10 - sounds so badass, it sounds like some song that would play if you were put on hold in a television channel, but remixed to the extreme.



I'd prefer this remix than the actual final boss song itself.

I saw simular threads at other forums and as they turned out to be kind of popular, I decided to create one of these here too. (If it turns out to be unpopular it will be unsticked)

A person will post a link with a piece of music, the next poster has to rate it and also needs to add a song to his/her post.


Rules:
- Atleast the first 2 minutes of short songs (under 3 minutes) have to be listened to.
- Atleast the first 3 minutes of long songs (over 3 minutes) have to be listened to.
- You need to rate the songs on a scale from 0 to 10.
- You have to write atleast one sentence about what you liked/disliked about the song and give a reason for the rating.

Yup, I didn't saw that though, as I'm not active in the Media subforum. I already discussed this with Noxid in the IRC a bit. I think a thread like that needs rules to prevent people listening to songs for 10 secs and then posting "it sucks" in order to increase their e-penis size. Plus this one only allows single pieces not whole game soundtracks.
Anyway, we'll just see how it goes. If not those two threads may be merged together or something.

I unno man, I see a heap of 7+/10's in that thread. Also why was this stickied :/

If you discussed this with Noxid, I'll leave it up to him to decide what to do for now. I'm not really bothered about where this goes.

10/10 - I love how you can just hear when a song is from the 80's. They stick out like sore thumbs, just like everything from the 80's. Also it was good.



Edit: Seriously it does jakey. Have you listened to the music from the 80's? The synths that were used and the drums, they're very distinctive of that time period.

 

I'd expect a response like that to something like this jake:
