• Hey everyone happy Christmas Eve we're aware of what's happened with the source code so to keep this simple absolutely don't post it on the site or use it to make mods with (it's not particularly preferable toward this end anyway) and tread lightly in general until we see how this settles, thanks to all and have a great holiday season -DT

Hi all,

First post here - have had a look through and haven't found anything about people having problems about importing .wav into pxtone (namely, ptcollage).

I've tried at a number of different sample rates and depths. Is there a specific set of file properties, or a specific destination, that the wave files need to be in for the import to work?

The error arrives as 'error' with text of 'add voice' - this occurs both when selecting a .wav sample through the '+' button on the voice tab, and dragging the .wav into the ptcollage window.

Forgive me if this has already been discussed, and thanks in advance to the person who can help me out!

NB the files I am trying to import are samples from the 'bitkits' collection at uppercussion dot com. Probably not relevant. But samples worth checking out!

I had no trouble importing a wav with mono 8bit 22khz and stereo 16bit 44khz
are you sure you're using uncompressed WAVs?

Thanks Noxid, will check it out. I'm exporting the samples through cubase 5, I'll give those settings a try.
The version of pxtone that I downloaded was from Gryzor87 at g r 8 7 dot com.
If there's another version of pxtone I should be switching over to, I'll try find it.
