Hmm, now this is a good question...

If the Wii Version of CS goes well, then maybe...MAYBE...There will be one, but on the other hand, you can get a free port of Cave Story on your PSP, it's on the official site.

In other words: Probably no chance at all it will happen, cuz it has happened already, and yes, I have made a paradox!

Yes, but make sure you look up a tutorial on how to make your PSP run homebrew games.

I swear that so many people are out of the loop with this.

The whole deal with Variant releasing a commercial port of cave story was utter BS. After learning that Variant were a pack of liars ufo_z created a psp port in under a week. That was well over a year ago.

I think you missed the part where I said "you need to have custom firmware if you want to play it".

Oh and switching to custom firmware becomes harder as your official firmware rises. With your current firmware you are pretty much dependent on another custom firmware psp to get custom firmware on your PSP. Oh and always read the instructions CAREFULLY.

I used a different method for getting custom firmware on my PSP, so I do not know much about the pandora battery, but I would like to direct you to a site that was incredibly helpful for me when I was figuring out how to install custom firmware for the first time:
