Popular trends/terminology/etc on these forums
I probably forgot a few things, tell me if I missed something.
Forum Assassins:
When a person becomes dead to the internet (stops going online suddenly without warning) then that is attributed to them being killed by forum assassins. The forum assassin's weapon of choice is assumed to be the sniper rifle.

'Nuff said.
Why style:
Basically it is writing something out like:
o.o
[insert question starting with the word "Why" here]
Why?
-_-
Doom text:
The act of making text the same colour as the background colour in order to make it invisible. Due to the high use of the "Cave Story" skin it is usually done in black. Doom text can be viewed easily by highlighting the text
Example 1:If you can see this without highlighting then switch to the "Cave Story" skin.
Example 2:If you can see this without highlighting then switch to the "Cave Story Lite" skin.
Kageism/KAGE IS THE MAN:
Definition 1: An attraction to the witty humour or comebacks used by Kage or Kage himself for the witty humour or comebacks. Sort of like a respect for someone who makes an awesome comeback, except specific to Kage, and more worshipy.
Definition 2: Emulation of the witty humour or comebacks used by Kage with a sort of respect to Kage. (Toldja I sucked at explaining it in words)
The term Kageism possibly originated from Kage's "Church of Kage" post.
Balcake:
A cake in the image of balrog.
Gamod:
A mod edited enough to be its own game. Not to be confused with the Gamod Thread which is a thread discussing differences between the terms "mod" and "game".
SP Gender Confusion:
SP's sister Marlene had a habit of getting onto Sp's MSN account, as such there was a rumour that Sp's real name was Marlene and that he was a female. This went on for a long while where half the forum claimed SP was male, and the other half claimed that SP was female. The gender confusion inspired the gender thread where SP stated the he was male. Though occasionally people joke about SP's gender.
www.wtf.org, www.lol.org, etc:
The use of internet shorthand in a domain, the link must lead to an actual website. The link usually replaces that specific internet shorthand in the post.
Oro?:
A replacement of the smiley O_o with the phrase "Oro?" used by Kenshin from the Rurouni Kenshin anime series.
PICS OR IT DIDN'T HAPPEN:
The name says it all...
