Since you asked for more ideas...
How about a Machine gun with infinite 4-directional flight?
Or have the Snake shoot two bullets per shot with the travel path of the second being the inverse of the first (so the travel paths resemble a side on helix)?
Or a powerful Missile Launcher with severe kickback?

Can you make a snake that fires in a straight line like it did in the beta versions?

this is a rather simple idea, but I've noticed with the fire ball that when you shoot up or down, the horisontal speed is dependant on your own. could you make shooting left or right have this effect as well?

The Machine Gun hack would be rather a weapon than a bullet hack, but I like the idea. The Snake hack would be a weapon hack as well. And Missile Launcher would require both of these.
I like these ideas, but I'd rather do them after I play a bit more with bullets.

Could you provide a video or something of such Snake?

But wouldn't that mean you would shoot static Fireballs when standing still?

not quite. if you shoot up, it travels in which ever horisontal direction you're facing just very slowly when your not moving. But it still appears to be affected by your velocity.

Uh huh. Alright, I guess this one can be quite fun. Getting to it now.
'kay, Goerge, I'm done.

Velocifireball
http://youtu.be/CplD-uJ2H34

Brief summary:
- Velocifireball makes the projectiles fired left or right highly dependent on your horizontal speed. If you are not moving, the projectiles are notably slower than the vanilla ones, but when you are running (or even better, boosting horizontally) the projectiles have very high velocity.

I like the reverse gravity fireball. I could use this for Dust, does it speed up every time it bounces? I feel like that would be cool, and many puzzels could be made with this.

Also, maybe it could explode after it's gone as far as it can go.

Ah. I was thinking of a weapon from half life 2, and that would be pretty cool to have it.

Great job, this is going to be awesome when ever anyone changes quotes speed to something stupendously fast.

Sorry to bump this, especially since nobody else has had this problem, but... I'm having difficulty installing Hina's No-Gravity Fireball Hack.

I am using DA, and it keeps saying:

====================
Line Number: 10
Line Contents: setnpinter

Unable to recognize this instruction.
====================

But the line of code doesn't actually say setnpinter. It says "setpointer". So what am I doing wrong?

did you already include noxid's defines in the assembler?
