i said i was gettiing it in my edit its up right now mr.

 

When I try to extract the folder from the ZIP, it asks if I would like to copy the folder without encryption. Something is supposedly preventing it from being encrypted.

EDIT:

Because the files aren't encrypted, I can't play the game.

EDIT:i works just fine for me it must be your computer can't accept the file for some reason

 

So after playing the mod, I did have some thoughts

-What the fuck is correct. Just...no.

-Is this You Need To Wake Up or is this Cave Story but worse?

- Just random sprites doesn't mean you're dreaming in a coma.

- I'll have you know, Balrog is not as much of a wimp as you are.

- If I were dreaming in a coma, I'm the pretty sure the Polar Star would be extremely nerfed.

- So let me get this straight, there's no end to the mod, making it just Cave Story for the rest of the mod?

- Just like in this mod, each time I save a girl, of course she would angrily kiss me on the cheek. Tsuedere confirmed.

- Yep, this is just Cave Story, but with bullshit added to it. I even changed the font to Comic Sans because of how bad it is.

Overall, this mod is very bad, at least put some originality in it. Just text edits and random sprite placements won't make it more Cave Story than it is already. If you want to make the mod look glitchy, then I suggest just corrupting the engine.

 

I have one comment:

Make bugfixes, check any place for bugs, Make the overall design better.

yeap i want it to be really buggy though but at the same time playable he's in a dream crazy things happen in dreams,and also you don't have to be jerks if its not good alright, this is probobly a lost cause anyway i plan on doing a challenge mod due to the fact its mainly gonna revolve around just a stage i'll do better

 

But in games like Yume Nikki, at least the dream entities actually have a purpose. Your placement for all those random sprites are just lazily put in.
