Please stop embedding files/images from Discord. Discord has anti-hotlinking logic in place that breaks links to Discord hosted files and images when linked to from anywhere outside of Discord. There are a multitude of file/image hosting sites you can use instead.

I wanted to make an observation that the picture is becoming a shade darker every time Hayden submits something. I made a square in the upper left corner area black, but ending in shades of grey, and as of now they are pretty much unnoticeable (all black). I kept pasting each submission after I made that contribution and noticed a pattern.

If the image comes as a .png, then I save it how it currently is. If it's in any format other than .png, save one certain time, then when I have finished editing it, I save it as a .PNG in MS paint.

Most people (well, at least i do) just copy the image, paste it into snag.gy, and reupload into imgur. But I wouldn't think actually saving the image would cause that to happen. But honestly I am no expert \(o.o)/

I can probably fix it in PDN this evening by doing a colour-replace with the earliest untainted versions of each shade. I'd blame it on MS Paint but I've been using that for every submission I've made from work so ....

Well that's no fun. You COULD try to paste it opposed to saving it. But as I said, I am not sure if that's the cause. Worth a shot though?

Ok. Two questions whose answers I did not find when google searching, or when viewing the FAQ:
1) It automatically makes the image a .jpg. Is there a way to stop it from doing that?
2) The snag.gy editor is almost as good as Cave Editor's image editor. I don't see any more advanced editor tools. What should I do?

You don't have to edit it there. You select and copy the picture from MS Paint and THEN press ctrl+v to paste it into snag.gy.
And it saves it as a jpg but I don't think it leaves any artifacts, so it's fine I think.

Pictures can be saved as any file extension as long as your browser can open them. For example, you can host a .gif as spookyforest.jpg and scare the everloving fuck out of someone when you link the picture and say "When you see it..."
