That's very interesting. Although it doesn't confirm whether he made the original, or designed the version that appears in Cave Story+.

I would assume he also made the one from Cave Story + but yes, I guess it's not 100% confirmed. It's probably at least 98% true though, I mean, come on.

 

I remember Tyrone once mentioning he was involved in Cave Story (Wii Ware), so I can see them calling him in for things of that sort.

Not to my knowledge but I wouldn't doubt that it was in the planning considering all the "DLC" Tyrone was mentioning.

Considering Wind Fortress and its structuring... Is it possible to complete it in reverse? That may give us a clue as to how the stage was intended to play out.

Pixel had direct involvement with the WiiWare port, it wouldn't have been released if he didn't.
