I will just be posting this on behalf of one of my friends, Dianke. (Yes, the same one that helped out with Haunted House Story Reinforced.)
She says that she had asked Noxid and that he said it'd be fine, so... yeah. I'll just be quoting her:

She has said that she will no longer be working on the mod itself, but rather on a written story thereof.
She also said that she wouldn't care if anybody took over the mod.
Any questions regarding the mod, I will try to answer.

Please note that this is my very first Cave Story mod. As such, it will contain bugs and glitches, some of which I have no idea how to fix.
Also, be warned that this mod contains gas masks. (After all, if the planet's atmosphere is toxic, how else would one be able to breathe?)

And now, a spoiler related to the mod's future.
Yeah... a glitch I don't think I can fix... it is undocumented at the moment.
The only mod I know of where you can battle the first boss with a Spur (or variation thereof) while you have 3 max HP.
The Chaos Fairy... yes, at Level 0. That is because of a glitch mentioned above.
You cannot save in this place at the moment; that is to allow you to reset and thus return to the last save point you saved at.
The teleporter here breaks after entering.
This is Path One.
A facepic that was from the beta Cave Story. Also, several tilesets are from there as well, as is a boss (so far).
This is Path Two.
Lumen Caverns... you can access a small portion of it. Though, there is nothing there other than a few monsters.
The Two Paths...
The path you choose depends on what happens in the Teleporter Room.
Where do you end up after you teleport? Agimim Village or the Chaos Fairy?
Only one of those paths is the canon path.
That is correct... I plan for this mod to have two endings that is chosen early - at the point the demo technically ends.
This demo ends at the Lumen Town Teleporter Room, though you can still play on...
If you find bugs, glitches, etc. be sure to report them. I shall keep a bug list in this post.
