Yes. I've made a few of my own vBulletin for myself and others. I am not an expert, but I at least know some of the basics.

Actually the postcount is a number that changes whenever posts are added, deleted, or moved. The reason your postcount is entirely independent from the number of posts you have is most likely because it allows the page to load faster. Basically it is editable, though I am entirely against editing postcounts.MetaSeraphim said:

I meant the flamewar, not the group itself, which was a pile of failure. Cheese even read part of that thread to his class (something about phallic arguments).
