Not like anyone used the Social groups, but what happened?

Is it just me, or did we lose the user created social groups, along with photo albums?
I guess they won't really be missed {No one's even said anything yet...}. I had the hardest time getting any activity in my groups, and I guess we have Photobucket, but what happened to them?
Just curious to why we removed the appendix.
{That seems to be happening a little often, actually..}

 

But... my photo album... it was made of win. I can't re-gather all those pictures I had, and I loved them all.
I have nothing to say about the social groups, as I have not used them for months.

 

I agree, I liked Capn's album, and yours was interesting too Lowell. The social groups I won't miss since, as I've said on one, I frequently forgot they even existed.

 

I think that admins/mods/whoever does this stuff just shouldn't change the forums without asking first.
this and the ten char limit and the weird button we have to press before posting were added without consulting the people they affect, and it just grumps up the forums, too.

also, I just spent the last half hour looking for a social group, but nooooooooo.

It seems like the forums are disappearing little by little...

some groups were inactive for months...

nobody cared enough about the albums...

 

Eh, as far as social groups, the only thing I personally ever got out of them was a way to kill 5-10 minutes by looking through them. So no great loss. Though I did get a kick out of certain people's (Lowell's) albums.
