Ok, I did save it as pbm and the (C)Pixel thing, like I said, I've done this before a little bit. It popps up as soon as I start the game. Doesn't make it past the "Loading" screenVoidMage_Lowell said:Details, details, details...
For instant, are you remembering to save it as .pbm? {It's a .bmp, just renamed..}
Or did you forget about the (c)Pixel ending? {Cave Editor can fix that, another reason I like it more then SW =D}
And,what error are you getting..?
Er, since we can't really read the errors, where are you getting it at? As soon as the game starts? When Quote first appears on the Title Screen?
Details!
Ah, I have this problem all the time whenever doing anything with the data files. What seems to fix it for me is to open the .EXE with Cave Editor, uncheck the removal of the (C)Pixel thing, and change the title of the game's name {Just as a space or something}, and Cave Editor should fix it for you! {To make sure it's working, the editor should "freeze" after you hit OK, that's it doing it's work}OneMatty said:Ok, I did save it as pbm and the (C)Pixel thing, like I said, I've done this before a little bit. Lace said:or you can do the five second hack on the exe that makes it so you can edit it with any program, not just the crappy one ce provides.
Um, I use both Paint and PaintShopPro for my Data files; Cave Editor automatically fixes them for the EXE.Lace said:or you can do the five second hack on the exe that makes it so you can edit it with any program, not just the crappy one ce provides.
That's why this thread's here in the first place.Lace said:try editing them and then starting without using ce first.
Temporary? Psh.Lace said:also, onematty, hack the EXE not the pbms, it's a permanent fix, not a temporary one.
Sorry, I used internet sarcasm, which is like impossible to catch >.>;Lace said:I'm just pointing out other fixes. yeesh.
